CALLING ALL SPOOKY, KOOKY, WEIRD & WONDERFUL ARTISTS - THIS SHOW IS FOR YOU!

Housed within the arches of the beautiful Fishing Quarter Gallery on Brighton seafront, steeped in history, a (literal) stones throw from the water, this space enjoys heavy footfall throughout the year as tourists & locals frequent this well known spot as 'the go to' place to explore interesting art.

With its arched bare brick walls and cavernous feel the venue provides the perfect setting for a spooky show with art that leans towards darker and more haunting subject or materials. Coupled with a Private View that will be sure to draw crowds and lean into the festivities of the season, this show is set to be a standout event.

Theme

This show will run throughout Halloween period & we’re looking for artwork that will reflect that.
It doesn’t have to be all pumpkins & skulls, but we are looking for work that could be interpreted as a little dark/haunting/eerie or just plain weird 🤪

Submissions

Submissions cost £5 each. You can make multiple submissions, however will need to pay the fee each time.

Once you have paid the submission fee, email a good quality image/s (less than 2MB) to sales@bobbydazzles.com

Sizing Limits & Requirements

All works submitted must be of saleable quality & gallery standard.

Wall Hung Work - No larger

than 150cm on any side - ready to hang framed with d-rings & wire.

Sculptures - no larger than 50cm in any direction & under 10kg

Prints must be cardboard backed, cellophane wrapped & priced

Commission & Fees

Successful participants chosen for the show will need to pay a £10 participant fee to guarantee entry. This fee will cover marketing & running costs associated with the show.

All sales will be subject to a 10% commission fee + any card transaction fee (1.5%) - Artist to receive funds for sales within 1 week of show ending.

Private View - 31 Oct 2025 from 7pm

Unsold art collection - 2 Nov 4pm-8pm

Artist Responsibilities

- Ensure your work arrives safely at the gallery

- Promote the show as much as possible on social media media & other platforms

- Attend the Private View if possible

- We encourage visits from the artists but invigilation is not required & will be taken care of by the organiser.
